The problem I see with the global interpretation is that this doesn't
explain what Scooter Libby was doing talking about this stuff.
Republican special prosecutors generally don't make it a habit to
indict people in Republican administrations for tiny technical slips
and such. It also doesn't explain why Novack went ahead and
published the "slip" when the CIA clearly did not want this to happen.
That said, I'm pretty busy today, so I won't be plunging ahead into
this discussion beyond this.
