Invent a new weapon, regret follows.
BBC reported that teens were using variations of this sound in classrooms. Some used it as a cell ringtone. Some used it to annoy their peers while leaving the ol' teacher puzzled.
As the pranksters gradually discover, if one can hear it, a high-pitched sound is easier to pinpoint than low-pitched sounds.
