I think no voting machine should be allowed unless it leaves a clear
paper trail and all involved hardware and software is open to public
scrutiny. Voting should be transparent where no components are an
unknown black box. Diebold for example has proven themselves horrible at
security and disconcern for real issues with their machines. These types
of machines should be required to be opensource all the way.
