But state's don't have equal power. Are you saying that we should just go to a 50 electoral vote system -- one vote per state -- so that California and Wyoming have equal power? Why? I think that sounds like a very bad idea.
I'd probably say yes although I'd probably have to think a lot more about it when I'm not on groovy pain pills first so maybe I'll chime in later some time. Overall though I think it's important to maintain the power of the states and this is one of those factors. You want to keep the power at as local of levels as possible I think so as to keep all of your power from being concentrated at the top and as distributed as possible to keep all the power being concentrated in one place.
