And Gore would have damned you to what?

You seem to have been a victim of negative campaign ads - these are 
designed to get people to stay home.  You probably also fit into a 
demographic that would tend not to vote for Bush, so you were denied the 
right to vote.  If I were you, I'd be very pissed off about it.
