Did you hear about this one? It's a really amazing story, but it's also a
sad story. Two girls from a Christian college, Laura VanRyn and Whitney
Cerak, were in a terrible car accident. One lived and the other died.
Whitney's parents buried their dead daughter while Laura's family held
vigil at their daughter's bedside as she gradually recovered. Then, one
day, Laura recovered enough to write her name -- Whitney Cerak. The
family that had buried their daughter had declined to identify her body.
The coroner is now resigning from his position.
Because the two families share the same strong religious beliefs, they
seem to be getting along pretty well despite the circumstances.
