I know this is an old thread, but I've been putting off reading it till
now. I'm curious. What was the timeline post 1995 and your productivity
levels?

In 1995 I made a decision that maybe I would put God on the backburner
for a while, and work primarily on my math career. Looking back, by

I went to England for a year 95/96 on sabbatical. I thought with no
time spent on teaching I would get a tremendous amount done, but that
really wasn't to be. I quickly repented of my desire to put my research
first, but I think that God decided to use that time for me to learn the
more important values of life. And with hindisght, I am glad of it.
