Joy? I wouldn't call it that. There is some "I told you so" there, but I take no joy in it.

Why were you passionate and why are you upset?


You posted this story like it even meant something. It means nothing. All the while there is an overwhelming mass of stories that _do_ mean something that you could point out to underscore how badly the Prez is suffering.

Tell us some of those stories.


My point is that I would respect your posts a lot more if they showed this understanding. There is plenty out there to make you legitimately feel joyful and smug over the misfortune of your opposition that really means something significant.

I'm not happy that Bush is failing. I wanted him to succeed!! He wanted to go after terrorists and defend America and I was all for it. The extent to which he would drop the ball was gradually revealed to me and, of course, I had to take a firm position against him. By the time of the 2004 election, I was quite adamant about Bush being a bad President, but that wasn't the case in 2001.
