Um... Mike.. I'm none too happy with the man myself right now, and I'm well aware of the fact that he's hurting right now (and deservedly so).

You pretend to know me, but all you know are your own prejudices. If you had actually read and understood my post w/o your preconceptions, I would not have to be essentially re-posting what I wrote above.

What I'm telling you is that you need to get out of your circle of self-congratulatory unbridled joy over what's going on and you might notice, that there are tons of people like me who really felt passionate about the man and his presidency and are now very disgruntled and even upset. These are the stories that mean something. His alienation of his political base is a much more poignant story than the the 'hated him then, really hate him now' stories you seem to like to post.

You posted this story like it even meant something. It means nothing. All the while there is an overwhelming mass of stories that _do_ mean something that you could point out to underscore how badly the Prez is suffering.

My point is that I would respect your posts a lot more if they showed this understanding. There is plenty out there to make you legitimately feel joyful and smug over the misfortune of your opposition that really means something significant.

I know the people who are "passionate" about Bush are religious people who believe Bush will use the government to promote their religion. Those people, and you seem to be one of them, are so out of touch with reality that *nothing* Bush does will ever faze them. Bush and his group put out little excuses for you guys to recite, then they get back to the work of screwing all of us.

Things are going very badly with Bush as President, but you will never know that because you are unable to absorb an unpleasant fact.

Mike
