The Yaris is a nice idea :) but i'm not sure i'll get one. I"m leaning
towards the 2000 Civic. HOpefully the insurance will finally be out to
look at my truck today. and i am supposed to test drive the civic on
thursday. I have class tonight, so i can't really go play with it today.
So, I am hoping the insurance mess will be solved soon. I had calculated
out the payments and the insurance, and the Civic is my best bet. next
to the Jetta. at least price wise. The Yaris would be awesome, but it's
a little out of my budget range I think. at least for now. I"m only
working with the numbers I have available right now. The insurance was
about the same for teh civic and the yaris, maybe like $5 difference.
but the payments would be higher for the Yaris, like $323 compared to
$267. (that was just my playing rates with for cost financing) So I
think $355 a month is more doable than $403 right now. And Civics get
good gas milage. like low 30s to mid 30s, maybe higher on long trips or
so. Maybe when i graduate with my MBA and get a kick ass job, i'll just
get me a hybrid ;) hehe. But nice to hear someone say good things about
the yaris, since it is very new in the states. My boyfriend still wants
me to look at a Grandam... i kind of just kept quiet when he said it was
a good quality american car.... my brother had one, and i wasn't
impressed and it was having a lot of problems. And a couple months ago,
his grand ams powersteering went out. hehe. Only problems i remember
with my civic were like a battery issue, but that got solved, and a
couple flat tires. I'll avoid all potholes from here on out!! I should
have sued the city of westport for my car!! *cry*
