There are programming environments _made_ for kids. Logo has several
desirable factors: Ease of starting, visual feedback, quick
gratification, attention to fundamental procedural & OO concepts, and
as a side effect boosting spatial and coordinate smarts.

Anyone actually tried this Java for Kids? It seemed a little interesting
but i dunno how good a job it actually would do for teaching programming
to kids.
