[MLUG - DISCUSSION] Car Values

I wanted to see your guys's oppinions on some cars and insurance stuff

this is what i have for me for these particular cars

>Rates for insurance are as follows
>2007 Yaris, 80.00       (Price 13,400)
>2006 Scion XA $79.95	 (price 13,320)
>2006 Kia Spectra5 99.56 (price 17,250)
>2006 Kia rio5 95.80     (Price 14,900)
>2000 Honda Civic - 2Dr $87.90  (price 10,950)
>2003 Honda Civic - 4Dr $80.74  (price 13,995)
>2002 VW Jetta GL $75.89  	(PRice 12.950)
>2005 Dodge Stratus $101.56     (Price 12,950

the yaris, kias and scion are new ones. the other are used. the 2000
Civic has 55k miles on it. the 2003 civic has 40k miles. I am not really
even bothering with the stratus, but it's got 22k miles on it (for
reference measure)

So, which one should i look at better? I'm leaning towards the 2dr 2000
Civic, and the Yaris, and maybe the Scion.  I was in an accident friday,
and so this seemed ample time to actually LOOK at cars. i've been
thinking about them, but now i'm actually looking.  My truck is probably
totaled. for it deifintly isn't worth fixing. at least in my eyes. I
have a 91 Ranger, and damage done to it includes: Driver fender smashed,
no driver side headlight, fender has been jammed into the driver door,
which doesn't open now, the windshield is cracked, teh radiator has been
pushed into the engine, damaging the radiator hose. the engin looks like
has been knocked slant ways, The bumper is bent, the main metal part.
and the hood is also damaged, along with the latch being bent. the value
of this truck, according to the bluebook thing, is like $600... so i'm
estimating the insurance will just total it out. but i'll find out for
sure in a day or two. 

Just wanted your imput. cause you guys are just so knowledgeable. and i
don't feel like listening to my boyfriend tell me i should get a grandam
:P
