Well, one must consider that "Land of the free" and "Home of the brave"
are in there TOGETHER on purpose. It's not a coincidence. It ought to
be self-evident that if you want freedom, you - personally - MUST be
willing (brave) enough to exercise your 2nd Amendment rights, pick up a
weapon, and defend yourself.
Unfortunately, we now have a country with quite a few very vocal cowards
who would rather have someone else (the gov't, or the police) do the
dirty work and defend them, yet they whine and bitch and moan when their
freedoms are curtailed.
Big surprise, dumb ass!
If you want someone ELSE to defend you, you'll have to do it on their
terms, period. The U.S. is no different, because *people* are no
different wherever you go. Fundamentally, we're all the same.
Chew on that for a while the next time you see these "OMG WE GOTTA
PROTECT THE *CHILDREN*" yuppies mumbling their way through the
Star-Spangled Banner at a baseball game.
