I whipped through the slide presentation they refer to in the article,
and I have to say that this is exactly what I suspected they would
eventually want to do. Now, of course, whether *you* want to trust
them with your data is another question. I'm fairly enthusiastic
about it in the abstract, but the devil is in the details.
If one was paranoid, encryption could be used. The commercial
version of PGP has "whole disk encryption" as well as "virtual disk
encryption", so it seems a new version of PGP could be integrated to use
the Google GDrive.
