I have 20 invitations to the private beta of
newsvine, a new social news site. The site is sort of a hybrid of a blog service like Blogger (duh) or LiveJournal, a link farm like digg or reddit, and Google News. It's pretty interesting and hopefully will attract lots of good user-contributed content. They'll be using an ad revenue sharing model once they go live, so you'll get a big piece of the ad money from any content you produce. The founders come from
ESPN.com and other Disney sites so they know a little about running a revenue-generating news site. I'm not affiliated with the company in any way, I just read about them and signed up for the beta, and was accepted. But I will disclaim that I'll get a little piece of your ad revenue if I refer you to the site. Cha-ching ;-)
Please reply off-list if you're interested. First come, first served.
Thanks!
