"Hybrids" should involve use of sperm and egg, I would think, while
chimeras can be produced by mixing other cell types. Anyway, Bush may
well have been thinking about this chimera research.
Jeremy Rifkin is a famous alarmist. He's been doing this for decades.
His idea that a mouse with human brain cells would have a human mind or
human intelligence is absurd. The human brain is rather large for a
mouse's head, so I don't think it's going to happen.
