I have mulled this statement over a few times trying to make sure that I got it right, and maybe I am still a little confused. You are saying the absence of a fossil record does not support that there really isn't one. Are you saying that there still could be a connection, a fossil record we have not found and might never find and that I am supposed to just take it on FAITH and BELIEF there is such a thing?

WOW, so since there is no evidence that there is a Creator, or even a
flying spaghetti monster, that does not mean there isn't one. Maybe I
got it wrong.

Absolutely. However, there is positive evidence to support the theory of evolution while Christian faith is based on a book.

So if an intellegent designer has placed all of the DNA information storage into each and every animal and is controlling the natural selection process by changing or evolving these creatures. Just because science has been unable or unwilling to prove this designer's existence does not mean it is not there, correct? Or maybe that is too much of a leap?

Again, absolutely. But, while real science does not preclude the existence of God, faith does preclude science by inserting the solution to the equation before you even pose the problem.

If God exists, it's my belief that, eventually, science would find him. However, to the contrary, if one is faithful, then the answer is already provided with no evidence required.
