If someone fused a cell from the skin on your arm with parts of an egg
cell from some woman, and that fused cell began to divide, should we call
it an "embryo?" Maybe, but it is no ordinary embryo! The goal, of
course, is not to kill it, it is to grow the cells and then use them to
replace cells in your damaged organs.
