I am SO thankful that my 10th grade English teacher brought in the Bible and gave us assignments under the auspices of "studying the Christian mythology." All other philosophical issues aside, the Bible (and the Qur'an) are *fantastic* works of literature, as the Iliad and the Odyssey before them.
