A great article. A very long but very dense and well written article.
The Pullman gentleman sounds very scary and unstable, with a tenuous
grasp on reality.
Thank you for this. I can't wait for the 9th. I've been visiting
Narnia.com for I think the last three years, being so impatient and
excited and pleased with the efforts and the way the website was built
and the movie seemed to be developing.
I've only one observation from the trailers. Aslan looks nothing so
sober, grand, grave, and well.... for lack of a better word, 'holy' as I
imagined as a child and still imagine. I expect it's just not possible
to match the mind's eye in this case. Also, Susan looks very severe, but
I've only seen brief glances and small images.
Anything is better than the casting BBC used in the LW&W... especially
for Lucy.
Trivia for folks who may not know. Aslan is the Turkish word for Lion.
Lewis served over in Turkey (I don't remember in exactly which
position... news correspondent?) and was taken with the culture and people.
