As an interesting side-note, you can pick up an older iPaq for dirt
cheap now, load linux on it, and have something a more capable than the
blackdog in that if you buy one with CF slot or wireless you've got real
networking. No host PC required either, the downside of course is that
you've not got a full-sized screen. Most PDAs do have keyboards
compatible with these linux distros though.
