Usually you don't get any deals much better than you could get
anywhere else, but Computer Spectrum, er, TigerTech is offering 12"
Mac iBooks for $599 tomorrow night; 60 GB hard drive, Airport Extreme,
Bluetooth...only quibble is that it only has 256 MB, so you'll have to
buy another stick for $60 or so.
The good news is that that this is quite a good price for a very
decent notebook. The bad news is that the blow-out price pretty much
seals the question of whether Apple is going to update the iBook to
Intel in January. This price says "clear the decks!"
