i don't know what it uses to take over the desktop. but, from what i
gather, the blackdog device does all the work. it simply attaches
itself to your display and keyboard like a parasite.
i think of it as a usb stick on steroids. although, practical
application is still somewhat up in the air. although, the idea i can
have secure, encrypted email with me all the time is nice.
