Actually, I don't want to track quality of their products. I want to talk about the fact they dumped 7000 gallons of mercury in a city reservoir making them, or they paid 7 year old children 4 cents a day to build them, or they gave Donald Rumsfeld's son-in-law $500,000 for his state rep election campaign so they would be allowed to import them.

I don't want to start a political argument, but I'm against government regulating everything to the point that you have to ask the local mayor when your employees are allowed to go to the bathroom. I'm a proponent of consumers identifying companies that do nasty things to the environment, society, etc... and boycotts them or writes letters or whatever. The problem is finding info on these issues. So when I want to buy a new television, I'd like to easily see if Sanyo, Sony, or RCA have done anything to make me think twice about buying their products.
