So, you wouldn't mind if Muslim teachings were taught in school alongside Evolution and Creationism? If not, I, once again, find it hard to justify that with your argument that not allowing formal prayer time is pushing atheistic views.

I'm sorry, but perhaps you've never read Genesis and know the heritage of Abram's son Ishmael.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ishmael

Quote..."Ishmael, son of Abraham, is mentioned in both the Torah and the Qur'an. In Islam, he is considered one of the prophets. Jews and Christians, through the Torah and Old Testament respectively, generally recognize Ishmael as the son of Abraham, by Abraham's wife Sarah's female Egyptian servant or slave, Hagar."

Ishmael is the father of Islam so to speak.

Up until the time of Ishmael (I.e., ~ chapter 16 if I believe), God, & Allah were the same critter. They still had the same creation "Myth" (myth nothing).

Therefor, it could be argued that teaching Creationism is teaching Muslim teachings. I've no problem with that.
