You know, it must have gotten *really* bad in the past few years because
friends of mine in Springfield area say that people are starting to
commute from there (100 miles away) into Boston. The housing prices in
the Springfield area have really jumped.
My brother commutes into Newton from a town just next to the Rhode
Island border, and his pathetic 700 sq. ft. shack would probably sell
for more than my house. (Tear-downs in Taunton and Attleboro...who'd a
thunk it?)
Yep. I don't understand what happened recently to cause this. I thought
there was plenty of land closer to Boston, but maybe no one wanted to sell
their land for development.
