I've said before that I oppose teaching religion in science classes, but I
don't think it's that big of a deal to include some "creationism" or
whatever you want to call it. Why? Because it will get kids interested
in the issue and it will cause discussions and arguments. Debates on this
topic would be good for the kids even though there is really no evidence
to support the creation side against evolutionary theory. In preparing
for the debate, kids would have to read a lot about evolution, even if
they were on the creation side.
