Actually, I could swear that the new Applemouse really does have a
little ball (they call it the scroll ball). It's a bit tricky to tell
from the website.
Amusingly, I used to know somebody who worked with the trackpoint
people at IBM. That one research project that turned out well kept
the group in the good graces of the company for several years. :-)
