Didn't we just stave off a mini ice age in the 1800's sometime? Maunder's
Minimum I believe it was called. it was the fact that coal was being used
to fuel the new industrial revolution and threw the soot in the air causing
a greenhouse effect that put off the mini ice agefor a few years prior to
that date, the Thames was said to have frozen over completely for the first
time in recorded history. Maybe someone with les restrictive web access
could investigate further.
My own theory on Global Warming? The earth is a fairly closed system and
the ozone hole was there before the mass introduction of cfc's, so it would
be like saying we could blow up the planet with nukes, it cannot be done,
but we could make it really uncomfortable...

* That is not what the top experts are saying. They do not
* have nothing but
* trends in temperature with time. They have many other forms

* CO2 and ozone in the upper atmosphere, and much more. This is not my
