Looks like there has been several versions since they started putting
scroll wheels on mice. Looks like a good pointing device. BTW, it's
actually called an IBM ScrollPoint Mouse. I think the term "Eraser head"
is a technical term. :-)


Strange coincidence -- I was just putting batteries into my new Logitech V200 Cordless Notebook Mouse (thanks for the recommendations!) and also enjoying the "eraser head" cursor controller on my Dell laptop when it occured to me that the two would work well together (as in the trackball on the new Apple mouse). Then I opened my MLUG email and saw this thread. Now I want one of those Scrollpoint mouses (or is it mice? - seriously - which is it?).
