I wondered Google Desktop worked with Win98. I tried to find the info
before I tried to install it, but no luck. So I tried to install it and
go this error...
GOOGLEDESKTOPSEARCHSETUP executed an invalid instruction in
module GOOGLEDESKTOPSEARCHSETUP.EXE at 016f:00403ce0.
etc.
I searched for the error in Google and found this:

This error appears because Google Desktop Search isn't compatible with
your system. Desktop Search runs on computers using Windows 2000
(Service Pack 3 or above) or Windows XP.
Advance warning would have been appreciated.
