Hi Folks:

I'm the CTO at a startup company, Voice Genesis (see www.voicegenesis.com).
We have an application called Vemail being distributed by Verizon, AllTel,
and several other major Telco's in the US.

I posted to this list about a month ago about some job openings.  I'm
assuming there are at least some students, academic folk, or people who're
just interested in doing cutting edge work.  Here is my post again:

We're looking for engineers.  You can work remotely from whereever you are.

We prefer to start people part-time, test out the relationship, and then
move into a full-time gig...

The work includes:

1)  Podcasting -- 80% server side (J2EE), 20% client side (J2ME).  Requires
a Non-compete agreement.
2)  J2ME developers for a messaging application.  Requires understanding of
REST (see Roy Fielding, etc.) as well as the concept of Generic User
Interfaces (XForms, similar technologies).

Let me know if you're interested.

There are also internships for Grad students, but you have to have real
experience writing software and not have spent your entire life as a
professional student :-)
