Don't forget that if I can get on your WLAN, I can run Ethereal, get your MAC address, and just configure my NIC to use it as well.

In /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-wlan0:

# Set the MAC address.
MACADDR="11:22:33:44:55:66"

MAC filtering defeated!
