There is still no absolutely reliable method (except maybe some very
expensive and rarely used diagnostic tests) unless you hit them with a
hammer, drive a stake through their heart, or fill them with embalming
fluid. Embalming fluid is presumably more "modern," and also provides
the funeral industry another product to sell. Perhaps we should switch
to the hammer method; it's cheaper and it works just as well.
