I wouldn't recommend buying a PDA just for the shopping lists, but if you
already have one in your pocket, it takes up the same amount of pocket
space with a shopping list in it as without one. ;-) For me, the PDA is
my cell phone+, so I always have it with me.
If you have a long list, it's nice to be able to type it on a PC and copy
that to the PDA. If you use the same list repeatedly, I suppose you could
photocopy it, but it might be easier to use digital copies. If you make a
list on paper, then decide that you wish you had grouped items differently
(e.g., by aisles in the supermarket), you can rewrite the list. On the
PDA, just copy items around.
