Like what? And, no, I'm not trying to be obnoxious. (Or more
obnoxious than usual). My calendaring needs are nearly zero. I don't
call many people up. I have a huge number of people I send email to,
of course, but that's already taken care of. You can't take really
notes on a PDA, and any time you'd want to do something computer-ish
with one, it's not clear to me you wouldn't be better off with a
laptop or else just postponing whatever it is you're doing. I don't
play games. I like to have a really big display. I guess I used to
like having a real calculator with me, but a calculator is much
cheaper than a PDA if that's what I want.
As far as I can tell, *if* I really needed to have and use a cell
phone, then getting one that did PDA-like things might make sense.
(Having a really really small camera would be nice). But once you've
decided you're not going to mess around with a phone, I'm not seeing
anything much else I'd really and truly use it for in real life. So I
know I must be missing something here, but I'm not sure what.
Maybe my life is just too boring for high-tech toys. :-) All I know
is that running bluetooth soaks up battery power, so I have it turned
off on the Powerbook. The icon is cool...kinda runic.
