I can think of a few sites I'd prefer NOT to get any traffic, as my
blog gets spammed ROYALLY from them. UGH. Which brings to mind an
interesting point for all you bloggers - how to deal with comment spam?
Email spam I've been pretty good at blocking. My spam filter has been
extremely good in catching everything thus far (Using OS X's Mail spam
filter). But, what about on websites where comments/posting is
allowed? Interestingly enough, one of the best options I've seen is
the whole picture system - where you type in an obfuscated picture
before posting, but is that a good thing? Too much work as a general
rule? Require registration of a valid email address before allowing
comments?
