That's interesting. I wouldn't have expected to see coyotes here. I
don't think I ever saw them growing up in south-east Missouri, but I
wasn't out in the country much, either.
Back when we lived in Phoenix, not infrequently I'd see a coyote
crossing the parking lot at work, or trotting along the road as I was
coming home. And sometimes there'd be a road-runner on the outside
window ledge at work, or along the road -- brownish, rather
dreary-colored bird.
Happily, no falling anvils, explosive bird seed, or Acme shoulder-fired
missiles.
