Once again I have to say how much I detest the tangled mess email has
become. Dealing with attachments and multi-part messages is bad enough
but that's not the worst of it. Then I have to deal with HTML mail. That
wouldn't be so bad except there are two different versions (normal and
with binaries wrapped inside) used and both seem to be broken. Most of
the messages I see appear to be output by Microsoft MIME OLE and they
are incredibly badly formatted with random characters spread throughout
the files. Would it really have been so hard just to format the damn
things properly? Argh! Why would '=' characters be randomly spread
through the source? #%$%^
Did we really need HTML mail in the first place? What has it done to
improve communications? I hate trying to read old mail just to find it
full of broken images and crap like that. Which is why I download and
store the images when importing the mail. Why mail clients don't do that
I dunno.
