Very cool, but the guy messed up his install link and the link points to a 
different .xpi file.  This is the correct one:

http://jgillick.nettripper.com/packages/tinyurl/tinyurl.xpi

Go there in Firefox, allow permissions, repeat, it will then install, then 
restart Firefox.  I then set Tools > TinyURL Creator > Options... so that 
"Close confirmation box when it looses focus" (sic) was turned on.  Now I 
just use Tools > TinyURL Creator > From Current URL and I'm done.  Sweet.

Sometimes you have to wonder if all the trouble involved in getting some 
of this stuff is compensated sufficiently by the gain in productivity one 
gets from having it!  ;-)
