I really have no problem getting my computers to work. I know people
that do and I still cannot figure them out. I have no problems with
viruses, few problems with Spyware. I have no problem getting any
application I am using to work. In the gaming arena there are some
tweaks I have to do at times because the game developers are simply
crazed maniacs for graphics, but short of that I really have no
problems with my PCs and I have five of them running at any given
time.
Of all the users in my office, I actually get more questions from the
Mac users on OS X then I do the PC users on Windows 2000. I am
constantly being asked how they burn CDs, how to access their
applications, how to view or connect to network shares. I get fewer of
those types of questions from the PC users.
Let me clarify that a little, I get more PC questions because the
ratio of PC user to Mac user is 10 - 1, but the Mac users seem to need
more individual guidance than any of the PC user do. I am not sure why
what is, we have evaluated our support and training for the Mac users,
it just does not seem to stick.
