For that same reason I'm going to try to publish a few things in print 
magazines too. I think that is more impressive than having been on a web 
magazine. I'm not sure that people look for a published system admin 
though. It's not exactly like being a system admin requires you to have 
published works like a research scientist. I've thought many times of 
doing a book but I never get around to it.. mostly because I can never 
decide which topic to do. I thought about a 'learn visually' book on 
several topics as I think those are great books to get people started in 
a topic.
