[MLUG - DISCUSSION] more music to grade by...

OK, so last semester, I was grading student papers to some pretty evil
background music (starting off with "That's when I reach for my
revolver" and stumbling down from there).

This semester, I've traded up to a straight combination of tracks from
the The NoTwist, Neko Case, and Fountains of Wayne.  The grades are
not really any better, but the music is a bit more upbeat.  (Yeah,
okay, if Neko Case is "upbeat" of where you were, then, well...)

In any case, I think everybody on this list should just go out and buy
their own copy of Neon Golden (the latest NoTwist album).  At their
website, you can get a free single, which is, appropriately enough for
this crew, "One with the Freaks".  German post-punk Emo just doesn't
get any beter than this. :-)
