I started doing that on a daily basis to keep total mail volume at 5,000
messages on gmail. Today they came up with a new dialog box warning to
force an additional mouse click on me when I delete 100 messages. After
I've moved the 100 messages from the archive to the trash, Gmail leaves a
blank screen (so that I have to do an extra click to see the final 100
messages in my archive - annoying) and it tells me that it is "feeling
unloved" because I have deleted messages. This baloney only encourages me
to delete more messages!
