I personally like the Boone County voting machine.... I think it's
called "A Sharpie". :-)
I couldn't help but laugh when I read on the instructions to only use
the specially provided pen! LOL! There's a lot to say for the
simplicity, and you can tell if the person had trouble with voting,
because they will have gotten ink all over them selves. Too bad some
areas have so many things going on they can't have the simple paper
ballot with the scantron bubbles.

I just went to vote here. 11:30am and the place was almost empty. I
didn't have to wait in line at all. I voted for a republican, a
democrat, and three libertarians. Now if only I had cable I could watch
and see if everyone else agrees with me. What are the odds? ;)
The voting machine I used was shit ugly but easy enough to use. It was
electronic but seems something from the days of lore. There was more
than decently helpful staff that kindly told me how to use the machine.
My only real complaint was that it had no way for me to write in a name
should I not want to vote for one of the choices the machine offered.
Sorry Weird Al, I couldn't vote for you. It was kind of quaint that
before I could use the machine a technician had to hand toggle some sort
of switches to set what area I was voting from.
