Actually, he wants to keep padding his pocket, and his cronies. He
promotes big business, which will do anything to make a buck (hardly a
Christian attribute). Big business kept dumping waste into the rivers
because it was the cheapest way to get rid of it, and would to this day
if they could get away with it.
