Oh, Mike, you are doing what you accuse every one else of doing.
You can say, I hope he is going to win.
You can say, I think he is going to win.
You can't, however, say he is going to win.
You also can't assume that dropping your land line for a cell phone
makes a person vote a particular way. I know people who have dropped
their land line for a cell phone, and they have political leanings to
both sides. If any thing, I think you must assume that you can not count
it unless you do an in depth study that points to people with out land
lines being overwhelmingly members of a particular party or group. That
has not been done, to my knowledge.
The only way to know who will win is by waiting till the dust settles.

But Nick had it right! ;-)
The stock market has been right 24 of 26 times -- if the Dow (er, I
think
it was the Dow) is lower on election day than it was 2 months earlier,
the
incumbent loses. Right now, it looks like it will predict a Bush loss,
but there could be a bounce.
