Well the candidates have answered the rumors.

The president's tailor says that the misterious bump is simply a seam
in the back of his jacket that puckered up.

And Kerry said he was only carrying a pen on stage and not a cheat
sheet. This was reported on Good Morning America, just a couple of
minutes ago.
