Maybe you should focus on the word "in", - "*in* the mainstream media" -
instead of on the word "see." Vern was saying that the bias was *in* the
media rather than *in* himself. I believe that he was "seeing" it, but I
don't know if the bias was in Vern or in the media, and he doesn't know
either.
