I too have to agree that Kerry "looked" better than Bush tonight, in my
opinion Kerry won the debate.

The problem still remains with me on Kerry though. Kerry's point is clear
enough, whether you can call it waffling or not would depend. The problem
for me is that Kerry says "I agree with everything, I only would have done
it differently." Of course you would have done it differently nimrod, tell
me how you would have done it differently, even more, tell me how your doing
it differently would have been better and how you would have accomplished
it.
The other thing that is still driving me crazy is this whole "passing the
global test" thing. That sounds very much like we are turning our security
over to the UN. Kerry did not explain his view on this adequately to me.
Right after he said that he moved to talking about his countrymen, but he
sure did not start that way. He talks about having the world on our side,
but then says he would have bilateral talks with North Korea. Would it not
be better to have more people in on those talks?
I think Kerry looked very wrong in his tirade about another round of
resolutions at the UN. I think after.. how many... 13 resolutions... more?
Seems like to me in the last 12 years we had been telling Saddam, "Hey, give
up your weapons, or we'll ask again in another year." This surely was not
working and it was clear when we started this we were not going to get
another resolution from Germany and France, funny how memories fade in the
years.
